I was very sceptical as to what Andy would bring to my fitness regime but within a short period of time i was convinced that Andy’s unique and fresh approach was the secret to improving my fitness which had plateaued due the constraints of training solely on my own.

I joined the gym about three months ago having had not exercised for a number of years, i decided to get fit and lose some weight. On joining the gym i was introduced to Andy who has been and is my personal trainer.  After planning a training program for me and coaching me through it on a weekly basis, i have achieved a weight loss of over a stone and have increased my fitness levels by 80% in this short time . I am in no doubt that with Andy's helpful manner and encouragement my goals will be achieved i would recommend anyone with similar goals to have Andy as their trainer

January 1st 2014 was the start of my 14 week London Marathon Training Plan.

In 2013 I completed the course in 3hrs 45 minutes. My target time for 2014 was 3hrs 40mins.

I decided to recruit the help of Andy and ask him for some fresh ideas. Built into my training plan there were still opportunities to race. Between January and April I competed in several races over various distances. Each time I came away with a new personal best. I couldn’t believe the difference that the new exercises Andy had introduced to me could have such a positive impact on my running. I am now faster over 5k, 10k and half marathon.

Sunday 13th April 2014 was London Marathon Race Day. This was the race I had been training for. What a Result! Another PB. I ran 3hrs 35 minutes. 10 minutes faster than 2013. I felt so much fitter and stronger. There is a saying ‘Run and Become’ which I do believe in yet I do advocate to be fitter faster stronger you need to be challenged. I am very grateful to Andy for showing me the benefits of using the various machines in the gym to isolate muscle groups and combine this with functional sessions. I have had a great start to 2014.
